PISGAH FOREST, N.C. - The men's golf team finished tied for fourth place after day two of the Montreat Invitational. The event was held at the Glen Cannon Golf Course.
Highlighting the tournament for the Lions were the performances of Nate Lockey (Brantford, Ontario, Canada) and Chad Skinner (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). Both players finished among the top five overall and earned all-tournament honors.
Lockey fired a 71 on the second day to conclude the event with a total of 146 (75-71). Skinner shot a 74 to end the tournament at 146 (72-74).
Mars Hill will be back in action March 29-31 at the Wingate Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Olde Sycamore Plantation.
