GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The men's golf team finished tied for eighth place after the final round of the Tusculum Invitational. The team of five players tallied a two-day score of 596.
Individually for the Lions, Josh Spalding (Weaverville, N.C.) finished tied for 11th with a two-day total of 143 (71+72). Lucas Kruk (Mars Hill, N.C.) finished tied for 29th overall with a score of 148 (76+72). Nate Lockey (Brantford, Ontario, Canada) came in third on the team for Mars Hill. His total of 152 after two days placed him tied for 46th.
Coker College won the Tusculum Invitational with a final score of 564. Individually Christopher Marsh from Coker College placed first with a two-day total of 138.
Mars Hill will next compete at the Montreat Invitational on March 15-17.
