 LEXINGTON, Va. – Members of the Mars Hill College Track & Field Teams competed at the VMI Winter Relays Saturday.
Angela Woodword (Gahanna, Ohio) won the 3,000 Meter Run with a time of 11:31.62. Ashley McCarthy (Clearwater, Fla.) won the women's High Jump with a jump of 1.5 meters. Anita Casey (Greer, S.C.) finished fourth in the One Mile Run in 6:16.82.
 Frankie Waters (Brevard, N.C.) won the 55 Meter Hurdles in a time of 7.83 seconds. Aaron Thomas (Seminole, Fla.) was victorious in the 3,000 Meter Run with a time of 9:28.49. Trey McCain (Leesville, S.C.) came in second in the event in 9:34.52. Justin Baker (Raleigh, N.C.) placed third in the One Mile Run in 4:42.87. Tyree Allen (Murphy, N.C.) was third in the Long Jump with a jump of 6.75 meters.
Mars Hill will participate in the ASU Valentine Meet on February 12.
