 ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill College junior Patty La Rovere, of Caracas, Venezuela, has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending February 24. La Rovere helped the Lions to 9-0 win over Virginia-Wise in their only action of the week.
Against Virginia-Wise, La Rovere did not lose a game in claiming the 6-0, 6-0 win at #2 singles. She also earned an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
The South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week is voted on by the league's Sports Information Directors.
