 ROCK HILL, S.C. - In the first week of competition, Mars Hill's Justin Gragg was named the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Gragg, a sophomore from Lenoir, N.C., finished third overall in his first race for Mars Hill as the Mars Hill men’s team won the Erskine Invitational. Gragg clocked a time of 20:22 over the 6K course.
Malaeh Cole (Lexington, N.C.), a senior runner for Catawba, was named the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Mars Hill’s next meet will be the Eye Open held on the campus of the Roger Milikan Research Center in Spartanburg, S.C. The first race will begin at 8:00 a.m.
