 BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team defeated King in a non-conference game 1-0 Saturday night. The Lions improve to 5-6-3 overall The Tornados fall to 7-7 overall.
Giovanni Malnati (Guayaquil, Ecuador) scored the only goal of the game in the 85th minute. He struck the ball from 25 yards out into the upper right hand corner of the net past Patrick Milfield (Dallas, Texas).
 Justin Spencer (Statesville, N.C.) made five saves for the Lions, including a diving save on a penalty kick by Tom Winspear (Yarm, England) in the 26th minute. Milfield recorded three saves for King.
Mars Hill will host Wingate on Friday at Meares Stadium. The game will begin at 7 p.m.
