MARS HILL, N.C. - Due to the recent tragedy in Haiti, the Mars Hill athletic department is kicking off a campaign to help the victims through this difficult time. Donations will be accepted at the remainder of the Mars Hill home basketball games.
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of all donations will go directly to the Red Cross and will be specifically earmarked to help the victims of Haiti. The campaign will kick off Wednesday with the basketball doubleheader against Wingate University inside Stanford Arena. The campaign will run through February 27, the last home game for the Lion basketball teams. The goal is to raise $2,000.
If you are unable to attend the games and would still like to donate, please drop off money to Pam Weaver (assistant to the athletic department) on the lower level of Chambers Gymnasium or mail a check to:
Jen Nance
100 Athletic Street
Mars Hill, NC 28754
Please make checks payable to the Red Cross.
