 CALABASH, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in 13th place after the first day of the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The team of four players fired a total of 407.
Taylor Banks (Burnsville, N.C.) led all Lion golfers after the first day with an 88 (46-42), Chelsey Bond (Ottawa, Canada) is five strokes back of Banks. Bond is second on the team after day one with a total score of 93 (49-44).
The final round of the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate will take place beginning on Tuesday morning.
