Chelsea ParkerBELMONT, N.C. - Crusader forward Celene Molera scored off a breakaway from Erika Trivisonno with just over two minutes into the second overtime period to lift Belmont Abbey College over the Lions, 1-0. It is the second straight game MHC has fallen in overtime. The Lions are now 0-3 on the season while the Crusaders improve to 1-0 on the year.

Belmont Abbey out shot the Lions 15-1 and had 11 more corner kicks (13-2) than Mars Hill. Chelsea Parker played the entire 102:45 in goal for MHC and made five saves. Kelsey Loveli also played the entire match in the net for BAC and made one save.

MHC will host Pfeiffer University on September 4. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
