Mars Hill College Athletics reaches the consumer in a six county area of Western North Carolina: Madison, Yancey, Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, and McDowell, also included are parts of Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and Eastern North Carolina. The Lions play football Saturday afternoon at Meares Stadium, which seats 5,000 and has been the site for some of the most exciting college football anywhere. Close by is Stanford Arena which seats 2,800, it’s also the home of the 2001-02 defending SAC basketball regular season and tournament champions the Mars Hill College Lady Lions.
